LAUNCHING CEREMONY OF BARGE WITH 36M LENGTH FOR EXPORT TO AUSTRALIA

In the afternoon on September 7, 2021, the launching ceremony of barge with 36m length named "GEN" for Hai Quan EPC Limited and Kraken Australia Shippers was successfully held at DR Building Mechanical Joint Stock Company.  

The representatives of the LLOYD'S REGISTER ASIA, Hai Quan EPC Limited Company Customer and leaders of DR Building Mechanical Joint Stock Company attended the meeting.

This was one of two barges (barge with 36m length and barge with 54m length) newly built by DR Building Mechanical Joint Stock Company under the purchase order of Hai Quan EPC Limited Company and Kraken Australia Customer. The “GEN” barge has the following main specifications:

Length Hull Moulded:   36 metres

Breadth Hull Moulded: 18 metres

Breadth Overall:            18.16 metres

Depth Moulded:               2.7 metres

Draft Full Load (Approx) 2.0 netres

Deck Load                       8t/m2

The successful launching of the barge "GEN" was significantly meaningful and demonstrated the effort and determination to overcome all difficulties during the Covid-19 pandemic spreading and ensured the plan to launch and hand over the barge.  It also showed the cooperation and trust of partners with DR Building Mechanical Joint Stock Company in building new barges in compliance with the specified quality.
