Commencement of Portal Reclaimer steel structure manufacturing project for export to Brunei.

On July 17, 2021, DR Construction Mechanical Joint Stock Company officially started to commence manufacturing Portal Reclaimer steel structures for export to Brunei. This is a Contract Agreement signed between DR Construction Mechanical Joint Stock Company and ThyssenKrupp Industrial Solutions (Vietnam) Ltd.

According to the signed Contract Agreement,  DR Company will manufacture the Portal Reclaimer steel structures with a weight of 50 tons, the most important part of the project is the auxiliary boom, chain boom which must be manufactured, assembled, and delivered with the whole length without welds at the construction site. The completed items have the following length: Auxiliary chain boom 2,580 m x 17,955 m and Chain boom: 4,000 m x 30,793 m.

The Manufacturing Schedule starts from July 17, 2021, ending delivery of FOB Hai Phong on September 5, 2021.

Mr. Dang Dinh Khoa, Deputy Director of the Company said: “This is the company's first project to export to the Brunei market, with the strict requirements of schedule and quality from customers. So in order to serve this project, since signing the Contract Agreement, the company has focused on deploying drawings and purchasing materials quickly, arranging manufacturing areas and resources in a scientific way to ensure the best conditions to execute the project.”

Over the past years, the Company has invested synchronously with many types of equipment, improved machines, expanded production facilities. The design team works directly at the Workshop consists of experienced engineers who contribute intelligence into the products through drawing design, calculation of quantity, material cutting, and manufacturing supervision. . The products are increasingly achieving high precision and are able to fulfill the most strict requirements. These are important factors for the factory to be able to execute this project well.
